We painted pumpkins last night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Madison had a blast!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She is growing up so fast!!! I was looking at her Halloween pics from last year and she has grown so much!! It seems like just yesterday that she was born!!!! What a blessing she is!!!! I love you Baby Girl!!!

MADISON AT THE FAIR!!!!

LET ME JUST SAY THAT NOW THAT I AM A MOMMY, I LOOK AT THE FAIR IN A WHOLE NEW LIGHT!! I REMEMBER IN HIGH SCHOOL, I LOOKED FORWARD TO THE FAIR ALL YEAR LONG!! HOW ROMANTIC IT WAS TO RIDE THE ZIPPER WITH MATT AND HIM HOLD MY HAND AS I WAS SCREAMING TO THE TOP OF MY LUNGS!!! :) NINE YEARS AND A BABY LATER, THE FAIR LOOKS A LITTLE DIFFERENT TO ME!! NOW I AM LOOKING FOR GAMES WHERE WE CAN PICK THE DUCKY OUT OF WATER. LET ME JUST SAY THAT IS THE ONLY GAME THEY HAVE AT THE FAIR FOR LITTLE ONES!!!! I KNOW MADISON IS JUST A YEAR AND A HALF OLD, BUT COME ON. THERE SHOULD DEFINATELY BE MORE FOR THE LITTLE ONES TO DO. Congrats Michael and Mary Kate!!!

Do you guys remember Michael and Mary Kate that I told you about a few months ago? They had a few road blocks in getting pregnant and were finally successful with IVF. She found out a few months ago that she is having twins and found out today that it is a BOY AND A GIRL!!!!!! I am SOOOOOOOOOOO excited for this couple. I cant imagine the joy they must be feeling and I know they probably are walking around with a HUGE grin on their face!! :) I cant imagine getting a boy and a girl at the same time!!!! What a joy! Mary Kate- I want to wish you the ABSOLUTE best for the remainder of the pregnancy and all that is to follow. A child is truly a gift from God. I thank my lucky stars every day for my Little Madison. I know I have said it before but she has taught me so much more than I think that I could ever teach her. Being a Mommy makes you realize that it is the little things in life that matter. Its not wanting the newest SUV, it is how excited she gets when something finally makes sense to her. Its not having the biggest house in the neighbor hood. Its when Daddy has been gone for a week for work and when she sees him for the first time! The smile is heart melting! Its not having the latest Coach purse, its how when I lay her down in the bed at night, she smiles and touches her nose because she knows Mommy kisses her nose and says "Mommy Loves You" before turning out the light. Im crying as a write this because there is just no words to describe it. No one can prepare you. I cant wait to hear about the rest of the pregnancy and am anxiously awaiting names for these little ones!!! :)

FRIENDS FOREVER!!!!!!

MADISON HAD A PLAY DATE WITH JASPER TODAY! ISNT HE THE CUTEST!!! THEY ARE EXACTLY ONE MONTH APART. CARMEN AND I WENT THROUGH OUR PREGNANCIES TOGETHER AND NOW OUR KIDS HAVE THE CHANCE TO GROW UP TOGETHER!!! HE IS A DOLL CARMEN!!!

Daddy is back! And so is the BITER!!!!!

Sorry so long since the last post! Matt actually came home Tuesday!!!! I was so happy to see him! He went with me to pick Maddi up from school and you should have seen the smile on that baby's face! Priceless! I took some pictures of them together that night and I will try to post them this weekend. Glad your home Daddy! We missed you!!!! It should be 3-4 months before he has to go out for that long again so that is a good thing! :)

Update on the biting. So, she got bit Monday by a little girl in the class. My heart was broken. I cried, she cried. It was heart breaking. I go to pick her up Tuesday, two more bite marks. One on the opposite arm as the previous day and one on the knee. I was crushed!!!! My poor baby! Its no wonder the baby does not want to go to school! I feel really bad for the mother of the biter cause I can imagine how ashamed she is that her child is biting others (not just Maddi has been bit, two others as well). So, they split Madisons class into two groups. Madison is no longer in the same group as Ms. Biter and hopefully things will be ok from here on out. However, my sweet baby still has two big circle bruises on her arms. Poor thing! Well, Im gonna go for now. I will try really hard to post pics this afternoon or tomorrow morning.

Daddy......Where are youuuuuu????

Ok. So I officially miss my husband and Madison is sooooo ready for HER Daddy to be home. He has been gone since last Wednesday and there are no hopes of him coming home before Thursday. I knew that this is one part of the job that would stink but there are still no regrets on him taking the job. He is so much happier at this job. I can handle him being gone for a while but I didnt think Madison would realize this soon that Daddy was gone. Everytime she sees a phone she gets this huge smile on her face and says "Dada". And she has been carrying around a picture of him. Oh sweet baby. This weekend was really rough cause that is usually the time that the three of us get together but he was not here. Its hard trying to keep up with everything on your own! Gives me a whole new respect for single moms! On top of that, Madisons allergies are horrible and she is teething. And, are you ready for this? Hold your breath......................SHE GOT BIT AT SCHOOL TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She has the markings of a mouth full of teeth outlined with a bruise above her right elbow. As if I didnt feel guilty enough taking her to a daycare, then this happens? Well, all the bloggers reading this, if you have any tips on how to make things easier for Maddi with Matt being gone or any advice on the childcare/biting issue, please feel the need to comment. And Honey, if you read this, HURRY UP!!!!! WE MISS YOU!!!

Well, today was the first day of "school" for Madison. She did well. Cried when I left but I called and they said she was fine. She cried when I left her with Jessica for the first time too and ended up loving going there so I think once the routine is esatblished, we will be ok! She must have played hard today cause she could barely keep her eyes open and went to bed at 730!

Bad Blogger

I know I know. I am a bad blogger. I want to blog so bad, but I can never find the time!!! Beware, this is another post without pictures and I promise I will work on getting some posted. Thought everyone was due for a little update though!!!! Maddi is doing well. Still walking everywhere, we even get an occasional run. She is such a little toot! She knows exactly how to work her cuteness in her favor to get EXACTLY what she wants. She is so stinkin smart! I mean, I know she is my kid and I and maybe I am bias, but she just seems to be so intelligent to me. The other day, she did something and Matt said, "See Jess, I told you she was a genious!" Oh my darling husband. Friday is her last day with Mrs. Jessica and she starts the new Academy Monday. I have been really stressed out about the whole thing but decided to sign her up. We had open house last night and I am so excited about it now. I think it is exactly what Madison needs. And, a girl that Matt and I went to school with, her little boy is in Maddi's class so I am really excited about that. She can stay there until she starts kindergarten and they have a christian based pre-school curriculum. They even do stuff with the little ones that is part of the curriculum (songs, arts and crafts). Will keep you posted. Kinda sad my baby going to Big Girl School!!!! Matt is loving the new job! So is the wife!!!! I get to see him so much more now. I am getting used to sleeping in the same bed with him again. Taking some getting used to but Im trying! Its hard when you have slept alone for two years!!!! He has only had to stay over night once and has been home every weekend. He ususally doesnt get home til late at night thought. This morning he left at 4am and he just walked in the front door like 5 minutes ago.
Well, i promise i will work on the pictures and keep you posted on the school!!!! Good Night!!!

HER NAME IS ANGIE SMITH. I HAVE BECOME A SELF PROCLAIMED "BLOG STALKER" AND SHE IS ONE THAT I CHECK EVERY SINGLE DAY. THIS WOMEN IS AMAZING. AMAZING DOESN'T EVEN DESCRIBE HER. SHE LOST HER BABY EARLIER THIS YEAR AFTER LITTLE AUDREY CAROLINE WAS BORN WITH COMPLICATIONS, LIVING ONLY A COUPLE OF HOURS. WHILE I WOULD PROBABLY, UNDOUBTEDLY, TURN MY BACK ON THE WORLD, THIS WOMAN HAS TURNED TO HER FAITH IN GOD TO CARRY HER THROUGH. THERE ARE MANY DAYS THAT I READ HER WRITING AND JUST CRY. SHE IS SO INSPIRING AND HAS SUCH A WAY WITH WORDS. I HAVE TURNED TO HER BLOGS ALOT, EPECIALLY HERE THE PAST FEW WEEKS AS I HAVE BEEN A LITTLE OVERWHELMED AND I WALK AWAY FROM MY COMPUTER FEELING AS IF ITS REALLY GOING TO BE OK, EVEN THOUGH I LOOK LIKE A BIG GOOBER BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN CRYING UNCONTROLABLY THE WHOLE TIME I AM READING. EVEN AT WORK WHEN I AM ON OVERLOAD, I PULL UP HER BLOG AND LISTEN TO THE MUSIC. I AM TELLING YOU ABOUT ANGIE BECAUSE I HOPE THAT SHE CAN INSPIRE YOU, JUST AS SHE HAS INSPIRED ME. IS 14 MONTHS OLD TODAY!!! I CANT BELIEVE IT!!!!! IT SEEMS LIKE JUST YESTERDAY SHE WAS BORN AND BEFORE I KNOW IT SHE WILL BE 2!!! SHE IS CHANGING SO MUCH AND BECOMING SUCH A SMART LITTLE COOKIE!!! HERE ARE 14 THINGS ABOUT MY SWEET ANGEL:

1) SHE LOVES HER "DADA". SHE KNOWS THAT IF MOMMY TELLS HER "NONO" SHE CAN LOOK AT DADDY AND SHE CAN DO WHATEVER SHE WANTS.
2) SHE LOVES BANANAS!!!! THE PAST TWO DAYS THE CHILD HAS EATEN FOUR "NANAS" AND SHE LOOKS, POINTS, AND SAYS "NANA"
3) SHE DEFINATELY KNOWS WHAT "NONO" MEANS AND SHE USES IT HERSELF QUITE OFTEN. IT IS REALLY CUTE WHEN SHE LOOKS AT REESE AND TELLS HER NO LIKE REESE IS DOING SOMETHING WRONG AND ALL SHE IS DOING IS SITTING THERE. POOR DOG.
4) EVERY DAY AFTER I GET HOME FROM WORK, SHE BEATS ON THE FRONT DOOR AND STARTS BLOWING KISSES (WHICH MEANS SHE WANTS TO GO BYE BYE) AND SHE WALKS OVER TO MY MOMS HOUSE TO GET A SNACK WHICK USUALLY IS CHEERIOS OR CARROT CAKE, OR BLUEBERRY MUFFINS.
5) THE ONLY 2 FOODS THAT I HAVE FOUND THAT SHE WILL NOT EAT IS JELLO AND SCRAMBLED EGGS.
6) SHE IS FASCINATED WITH ANIMALS (ESPECIALLY DINOSAURS) AND EVERYTIME SHE SEES ONE SHE GROWLS.
7) SHE IS FINALLY WALKING.........EVEN THOUGH THERE IS THE OCCASIONAL CRAWL.
8) SHE HAS SLEPT THROUGH THE NIGHT SINCE SHE WAS 2 MONTHS OLD. I THINK THE GOOD LORD KNEW THAT I AM NOT A NICE PERSON WITH NO SLEEP..........
9) SHE BROKE HERSELF FROM THE BOTTLE PRETTY MUCH. PREFERRED SIPPY CUPS AT ABOUT 10 MONTHS AND AT 12 MONTHS I JUST COMPLETELY TOOK THE BOTTLE AWAY AND SHE NEVER CRIED ABOUT IT.
10) SHE SLEEPS WITH ABOUT 10 PACIFIERS. NO JOKE. WE LAY HER DOWN AWAKE AND SHE PLAYS WITH HER PACIFIERS AND HER PIGGY UNTIL SHE FALLS ASLEEP.
11) LOVES PLAYING WITH BABY DOLLS. HAS A STROLLER THAT SHE PUSHES AROUND
12) THE CHILD HAS 37.......YES 37......PAIRS OF SHOES IN HER CLOSET THAT CURRENTLY FIT HER. AND PROBABLY 10 PAIRS THAT ARE TOO BIG AND CLOTHES ALL THE WAY TO 5T. NO I DONT HAVE A PROBLEM!!!!!!
13) SHE HAS 4 TEETH ON TOP AND TWO TEETH ON BOTTOM.
14) SHE IS A MOMMY AND DADDY'S GIRL!!!!!!

WITH EACH MONTH, SHE CHANGES SO MUCH. IT IS TRULY AMAZING TO WATCH THIS PRECIOUS GIRL GROW! I LOOKED AT HER TODAY AND THOUGHT TO MYSELF, " SHE ISNT A BABY ANYMORE, SHE IS A TODDLER." EXCITING BUT SAD!!!! I AM SO EXCITED TO WALK BESIDE HER AND HOLD HER HAND FOR THE YEARS TO COME! I LOVE YOU BABY GIRL! -MOMMY

Change is a good thing.........RIGHT???????

OK. SO IT SEEMS LIKE EVERYTHING IS CHANGING RIGHT NOW. I AM TRYING REALLY HARD TO HAVE AN OPEN MIND ABOUT EVERYTHING AND KEEP MY HEAD UP BUT.......WHEN YOU ARE AS ROUTINE AS I AM, ITS A LITTLE DIFFICULT!!!!

FIRST OF ALL, MATT TOOK A NEW JOB. HE IS NOW WORKING AT A PLACE CALLED STINGER. THET WORK ON OIL RIGS AND IM NOT REALLY SURE WHAT ALL THEY DO. I THINK THAT THEY GO IN AND OPEN THE OIL HEADS, MAYBE? DONT HOLD ME TO THAT. IT IS GOING TO BE A BIG CHANGE WITH HIS NEW HOURS WHICH ARE NOT AT ALL SET IN STONE. HE CAN BE CALLED OUT AT ANY MOMENT AND CAN BE GONE FOR DAYS AT A TIME. THIS SHOULDNT HAPPEN TO MUCH BUT WILL HAPPEN FROM TIME TO TIME. I THINK, I KNOW, HE IS GOING TO BE SO MUCH HAPPIER WORKING OUTSIDE AND ACTUALLY SEEING DAYLIGHT. HE ABSOLUTELY DESPISED THIRD SHIFT AND WAS ALWAYS DREADING GOING TO WORK. THIS JOB HAS BETTER BENEFITS AND MORE MONEY SO HOPEFULLY HE LIKES IT.

SECOND, I AM LOSING MY SITTER!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE YOU JESSICA! SHE HAS DECIDED TO BE A FULL TIME MOMMY AND FOCUS ON SCHOOL SO SHE IS NOT GOING TO KEEP KIDS ANYMORE. I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND HER DECISION BUT IT IS REALLY HARD TO LOSE SUCH A GOOD SITTER THAT YOU ARE SO COMFORTABLE LEAVING YOUR CHILD WITH. AND MADDI ADORES HER. SO, I DONT KNOW WHAT I AM GOING TO DO THERE. THEY ARE OPENING A "KIDS ACADEMY" HERE IN ALMA AND MATT AND I ARE DISCUSSING IT. WE ARE BOTH TRYING REALLY HARD TO HAVE AN OPEN MIND ABOUT THE WHOLE DEAL AND I PRAY THAT IT WORKS OUT ONE WAY OR ANOTHER. AND I KNOW IT WILL. ITS JUST A LITTLE OVERWHELMING TO LEAVE YOUR KID WITH SOMEONE.

AND I AM DEBATING SCHOOL OR NO SCHOOL FOR FALL? I AM ALREADY REGISTERED BUT I AM REALLY SCARED OF TAKING ON CLASSES NOT HAVING ANY IDEA OF WHAT MATTS SCHEDULE IS GONNA BE LIKE. I REALLY WANNA FINISH BEFORE I AM 40 BUT DONT WANNA BE OVERWHELMED.

AND ALONG WITH THE BAD THERE IS GOOD........WE HAVE MOVEMENT!!!!!! MADISON ELIZABETH IS WALKING!!!!!!!! SHE HAS BEEN FOR ALMOST TWO WEEKS NOW AND I CANT BELIEVE I HAVENT POSTED ABOUT IT. OH WELL. SHE IS A PRO AT IT NOW! I THOUGHT THE DAY WAS NEVER GONNA COME!!! :)

WELL, IM OFF TO LAY IN BED AND WATCH CARDINAL BASEBALL! KEEP ME IN YOUR PRAYERS THAT EVERYTHING WORKS OUT!!!! GOOD NIGHT!

HAD A PRETTY GOOD WEEKEND! WENT BY REALLY FAST. YESTERDAY, I WORKED UNTIL NOON WHILE MATT AND MADISON HUNG OUT AT THE HOUSE. THEN WE WENT TO EAT, TO TOYS R US, HOBBY LOBBY, AND GELLCO. TODAY, MATT AND I TOOK MADDI TO POPPIE AND WE HEADED TO VAN BUREN AND ATE AT CHILI'S AND WENT TO THE MOVIES AND WATCHED BATMAN. IT WAS A VERY GOOD MOVIE, BUT BEWARE OF THE FACT THAT IT LAST THREE HOURS!!!!!!!!! SINCE I HAVE THE ATTENTION SPAN OF A TWO YEAR OLD, I THOUGHT WE WERE NEVER GONNA GET OUT OF THERE!!!!! WE DID THOUGH!

BLESS HIS HEART. HE CAN BARELY MOVE. IM PRAYING THAT MADDI DOES NOT GET IT. SHE DRANK AFTER HIM YESTERDAY THOUGH! OK. SORRY GUYS! I KNOW YOU HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO SLEEP AT NIGHT ANXIOUSLY AWAITING MY NEXT POST!!! :) SORRY IT HAS TAKEN ME FOREVER!!!!!! THINGS ARE GOING WELL! MADISON STILL IS HESITATING TO WALK, NO DESIRE WHATSOEVER. MAYBE BEFORE SHE STARTS KINDERGARTE, WE WILL SEE MOVEMENT! I TOOK A FEW PICS OF HER TONIGHT. WE WENT AND ATE AT CRACKER BARRELL WITH GRAMMY AND POPPIE (MATTS DAD AND STEPMOM) AND COULD NOT RESIST THE CAMERA WITH MY BEAUTY IN THIS PATRIOTIC DRESS! ISNT SHE PRECIOUS. OK. YOU HAVE TO IGNORE THE CHEERIOS IN THE PICTURE. IT WAS THE ONLY WAY I COULD GET THE CHILD TO COOPERATE!!!!! HAVE A HAPPY AND SAFE FOURTH!!!!!

quick post.....

i am just going to do a quick post because I havent in a while!!!! Things are going well!! Here is an update on everyone.

Madison- Still not walking!!! I think she knows that we will carry her around everywhere so why should she walk!!! :) Teeth are bothering her again this weekend, had to pick her up early at Jessicas Friday with a 103 degree fever that has stayed with us all weekend. :( She is loving going to Jessica's though! I think she misses going there on the weekends.

Matthew- Staying busy between work and golf. He has been playing golf at least two to three times a week and is really enjoying it! Still keeping fingers crossed for a first shift job opening at Baldor (although we all know it will take a long time...).

Jessica- Staying busy with work and home. I am doing an online degree for Medical Coding and Billing and just registered to go back to UAFS in the fall. I took the spring semester off to focus on the Medical Coding and Billing thing but really want to finish up my teaching degree even if Im not going to be a teacher. Who knows, I may change my mind, AGAIN!!!! Although I am constantly going 90 to nothing, I love the joys of being a wife an mother!

And last but not least......after many hours of talking, many sleepless nights (for me), and many many tears, we have decided not to get rid of Reese. We had decided to get rid of her because she doesnt really have a yard toplay in and all that good stuff. I had no idea my heart would break so bad. I was packing up her toys for the lady to come and get her and went into a full blown panic attack. Seriously. That is when I decided that she was here to stay. Madison loves her so much and the thought of her leaving kills me. Even though there are occasional pee spots in my floor. We all love this dog and she is most definately staying with the Couch Family!! :)

well...i didnt get to post last night because my little one was not feeling well. so i am making up for it today!

Matthew Lee- Where do I even begin. I could go on and on about the wonderful things that you do but I will spare the readers!!!! i do want to say thank you for all that you do. you are so dedicated to your family and that means the world to me. i love the smiles you smile when you look at our precious baby. i love the way you kiss my forehead every night when you leave for work. i love the way that you always find a way to make me smile no matter how mad i am at you. i love you. i love you more than you will ever know. thank you for making all my dreams come true. you have given me so much more than i could have ever wished for. you are truly amazing. i love you more.

New Camera Pics!!!

well.... here are a few pics from the new camera. i know they are not the best but i will hopefully get better! this camera is TOTALLY different from my regular digital. tons of options and things that are way beyond my knowledge! maybe somedaay.........i will be half as good as jessica. (YEAH RIGHT). these are pictures of madison eating maccaroni and cheese. and her new "sad" face. it only works on her Daddy! and the last one is on there three times but im not smart enough to figure out how to get it off thee!!!!!!
